Four Different Models of the Powerheart® AED G5 are Available:

Four AED G5 models are available to rescuers: fully automatic and semi-automatic with CPR feedback device, and both models without the CPR feedback device. The fully automatic model delivers the defibrillation shock with no human intervention. The semi-automatic model requires the rescuer to push a button to deliver the defibrillation shock. The optional CPR feedback device provides real-time CPR feedback to instruct first-time rescuers in the proper CPR technique to increase resuscitation success rate.

Intellisense pediatric defibrillation pads are recommended for patients 8 years of age or younger, or weighing less than 55 pounds (25kg). They are non-polarized, meaning they can be placed in either position on the chest, reducing confusion and saving time during a rescue. Pediatric pads may also be placed on the chest and back. Using the pad connector embedded circuitry, the Powerheart® G5 quickly and automatically detects the pediatric pad, and automatically adjusts to pediatric energy protocols and CPR requirements.
