In the morning, an 8-year-old girl fainted inside a unit in Pui O, Lantau Island. Her family immediately called the police for help. The Fire Services control centre instructed her family to perform CPR and use an AED while waiting for paramedics. The girl was airlifted to the hospital for emergency treatment but unfortunately passed away. It was reported that she had symptoms of cold and fever before the incident.
