A mother reported this morning that her son had collapsed at their residence in Wong Tai Sin. Paramedics arrived and found an 8-year-old boy unconscious. He was delivered to Kwong Wah Hospital for rescue, but unfortunately, he was certified dead upon arrival. It is understood that the boy suffered from congenital convulsions and epilepsy. His mother discovered him with a stiff expression this morning and sought help, but the cause of death is pending confirmation after an autopsy.
