A 41-year-old man collapsed in his bedroom in Wong Tai Sin this evening. He was found trapped in the gap between his bed and the bookshelf. It was suspected he hit his head and lost conscious. Rescuers arrived but later confirmed he was dead.
It is reported that the victim was in his room for half day. His mother found that him fell on the ground and blocked the door when she was trying to go into the room. When the victim was moved to the living room by the rescuers, it was confirmed that he had no breathing or pulse, and died on the spot. It is understood that the victim has a medical history of high blood pressure and excessive cardiac muscle, and needs regular follow-up for food and medicine. It is suspected he died of illness.
