Last week, a male runner, aged 50, was attempting 10km HK marathon. He was found unconscious and died after sending to hospital. A team member of Auxiliary Medical Service sent a letter to criticize the managers of the organization. The letter talked about the process of rescue was incorrect. Also, the senior team members have banned to use modern saving techniques to provide service.
Auxiliary Medical Service spokesman has commented on the letter. The organization has spent resources on increasing equipment last year. There was no record on therapy delay with 260 thousands service hours on 2017.
