Taiwan was recorded -3.8°C and snowing in Hehuan Mountain. Over 10mm of snow fall was recorded. It was the coldest temperature in the area with a low 8.1°C. In Changhua County alone, 5 elderly victims died from SCA within 6 hours from midnight. At least 36 people across Taiwan were found dead from SCA due to the sudden drop in temperature. Most of the decedents were elderly.
