Just one day after his 60th birthday, famous footballer Tang Kim-Tung passed out during a football match at Southorn Playground Wan Chai yesterday. He was sent to replicapro hospital and was certified dead later around midnight. Tang had been feeling unwell before the match and intended to take a thorough medical examination afterwards.
It was 31 degrees yesterday morning and Tang was playing for 2 consecutive matches. He felt sick and soon fell unconscious while he was taking a cigarette break. On-duty St. John medics provided first aid before ambulance arrived.
Tang had been very passionate about football, by joining weekly matches and also as a coach in various local teams.
