In the evening at the West Bay River, Hong Kong Island East Stadium, 65-year-old Kendo teacher, fainted suddenly while practicing with the students. The staff of the LCSD immediately deliver a rescue with an automatic defibrillator (AED). The ambulance then sent him to the Hospital for emergency treatment. The situation is now in critical condition.
An officer of the Hong Kong Kendo Association mention victim has heart disease and has been scheduled for surgery. At the time of the incident, he was practicing with his students but the practice was not intense.
