A man suffered from sudden cardiac arrest during hiking near Clear Water Bay Country Park in Sai Kung around 11am. He and his friends had only started for half an hour when they were climbing a long staircase and he passed out on the way. Paramedics from the Fire Services Department sent him to PYNEH by helicopter and he was certified dead later. He was 61 years old and had a record of cardiac disease.
